Effective: 26 April 2026Last updated: 26 April 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Spendkar app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What Spendkar is (and isn’t)

Spendkar is a personal finance tracking tool. It helps you organise your spending and savings. It is not a bank, payment processor, or financial advisor. We don't move money, hold deposits, or provide investment advice.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information when registering and adding transactions.
  • Keep your password secure and confidential.
  • Don’t use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Don’t reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to compromise the app or backend.

4. Beta software

Spendkar is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed. We'll do our best to communicate changes, but bugs are expected. Please report them at support@spendkar.com.

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, network issues, or third-party dependencies may cause downtime.

6. Termination

You can delete your account and all data at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Spendkar is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
